Hey, I'm Andrea from Real Beauty and today we're doing Bridal Makeovers. I'm here with Shanell. Hey, Shanell tell me a little bit about your wedding and your dress.

Well, I'm getting married in Barbados and I'm excited and my wedding dress is a pink princess ball gown and the theme of the wedding is romantic, so--

So you want your hair and makeup to be very romantic and beautiful.

Exactly.

All right, we're gonna get you to hair and makeup and get you started.

Okay.

Sometimes your skin is oily here. We want to use as many oil-free products as possible that's why she needs a combination of oily skin and a hot location of the wedding, oil-free primer and oil-free moisturizer, and then definitely I want to keep those oil-blotting/absorbing sheets on hands because you're gonna get hot and you may get sweaty, and you don't wanna keep piling on more makeup throughout the day the entire time. I want to give you nice, warm-tone eyes with the gold, but I also wanna incorporate a little bit of your wedding colors, which I know are like a purply magenta, so we're doing a little bit of this purple in [unknown]. All right, Shanell we were all done, take a look. You are beautiful.

So, I heard that you are having an island wedding.

Uh huh.

So what we're gonna do is keep it very elegant, simple because we haven't knew what the weather will be like and what we're gonna do is actually a low side chignon that will just give you a little bit of glamourous,

but the same time very soft. And the best way to keep it secured is really the bobby pins. I put about 2 bobby pins and I crisscrossed it on the inside

Uh huh.

so that it secure. You can dance just to enjoy yourself and not wanna [unknown] have and just make a little more special, a little more island feel, I'm gonna add another orchids with a little bit of pink to go with your dress. Now, you have it absolutely beautiful. Wow! Shanell look at you. You look gorgeous.
