Traditional Bride Half-Up Hair and Modern Makeup: Christine Video

Hey. I'm Andrea from Real Beauty and today we're doing bridal makeovers. I'm here with Christine. Hey, Christine.

So tell me a little bit about your wedding and your dress.

Well, the wedding is gonna be very traditional.

Yes.

And the dress is lace, so it's more modern, modern traditional and I'd like my hair and makeup to be elegant to go along with the details of the dark.

Sounds good. Well, let's get you to a hair and makeup and get started.

Great.

Before you check your makeup, you always wanna start with a nice clean palette, so make sure your skin is cleansed, you're nice and hydrated.

What should I carry with me on my wedding day to make sure that if anything starts to shake or that I can cover it.

In general, you're usually gonna carry at least your lips because that is what wear off the fastest, powder because our skin can get shiny, is definitely something you wanna carry. If you don't wanna keep piling on powder throughout the day, carry oil blotting sheet.

What we're gonna do is just create a very tussled with a little bit of wave and put your hair half up and half down.

If my curls start drooping throughout the day, is there something I can do to make sure that I get a little bit life back in them?

Absolutely. I think it's really important to have your hair stylist give you a little touchup right after your ceremony.

And before going into the reception. The modern part of this hairstyle is the looseness of the curls, but I'm going to leave the top portion smooth, so that's where the classic part comes in. There you have it, your classic elegant look.
