Hi. I'm Sam (Brocado?). Welcome to Mars Ball. I'm here in New York City. What I'm gonna show you today is a great and simple holiday hair. What I did to prepare the hair was spray a little aerosol shampoo on the hair, that gave it a little bit of dryness and control and then I added a little bit of hair spray so the hair is textured. So what you'll need are a few bobby pins, some hair clip, some sort of a rubber band or something to hold the hair in place. You could use a bread tie if that works for you and you can disguise it. Then when I've done that, split the hair off from the left side. It can go left or right, and broke the hair into 1, 2, 3 sections. I start here in the back. I take that longest and the largest amount of hair and pull it to the side, taking the hair band. Wanna make sure that when you go to put the ponytail in, that it's not dragging too low and you're looking at yourself in the mirror, you wanna lift it above the cheek line, then you take the front part, pull it back, take a piece of it, pull it around the ponytail, clip it out of my way, and then you go again, hold this part down and the exact same thing. Leaven it, loosen up. Another clip. So now what you have is that back and out of your way so that you have it under control. Pull the left side back and then taking another hair band, just as you did the first one, pull it back. So now you've got a loose ponytail around on top of it. And now it's a matter of clipping and pinning the hair in place the way you want it. The rubber band supports from underneath and the bobby pins support from on top. So now I'm going to separate the hair into a couple of pieces I'm gonna wrap around the pony tail a little bit and create sort of a... almost like a rope effect to the hair. I take another piece and wrap and the last thing I'll do is take one more piece of the hair and come back around and I'm going to pin it right into her hairline. I'll put a little spray on this, take the front, and the one time you may give it a little bit of a back home, that gives the hair some strength and it'll make it stay. Now we've got a finished look and all I'm gonna do is add a little bit of shimmer spray. You can put it all over or you can just use it on the ponytail part and how you have something really... you got a great holiday look to it, sparkling shine to it, and you can just brush this right out.
