View all answersI'm gonna show you how to curl your hair with a flat iron. Crazy, but it actually works. The best thing is to start with second day hair. If you can't do that, you wanna be sure to prep your hair properly first. I use Pantene Anti-Frizz, towel dry my hair, and make sure that I angled the hair dryer down the hair shaft as I'm blowing my hair dry. Once I'm done with that, I'm going to take my flat iron. I like my Sultra flat iron or my Chi flat iron to get this effect. I recommend working in 1-inch sections. It is all in the wrist action. So, you can turn your wrist like this, or keep it like this, but making sure that you are continually turning it in order to get a nice curled effect. It's almost like taking the scissors to a ribbon. You have to make sure that you constantly keep this moving so you don't end up crimping your hair. And you end up with really soft curls.
