Hi. I'm Gail Simmons from Top Chef and Top Chef Just Desserts. And I'm here to talk to you of real beauty today and how to eat right for summer. The thing you wanna think about when you're choosing what to eat for the summer is that your skin really matters. First of all you always need to take care of your skin. Always making sure to obviously use sunscreen. But what you eat and what you put on the inside really counts to keep your skin healthy and in a great summer glow. And I'm really proud to partner with Eucerin as the member of their skin first council to be able to talk to people about putting the right food into your body to get the most out of it. And that really includes your skin. My key to eating well in the summer is choosing good that are really dark in color. The darker, the better because you're getting the most nutrients out of them. Think really dark greens like spinach or robla, fish like salmon and things like dark berries, black berries, blueberries, strawberries. All the stuff that's in season and really healthy not just to make you feel great but make you look great too. Even a little bit of dark chocolate really hide an antioxidants, really delicious and goes along way with just a piece or two. For a drink, I love natural juices that are also really rich in minerals and vitamins and green tea. Green tea has tons of great properties to it. It makes you feel great, it gives you energy that makes your skin glow. When I'm navigating summer treats and snacks, I wanna make sure that I'm getting something that's real nutrients. And so I'm not just eating sugar. Look for things like Popsicle that have real fruit in that. Real berries, things that are really rich in nutrients and vitamins. That way, there's some benefits what you're getting too. If you want a healthier cocktail, then try to use a lot of fresh herbs in your cocktail. Fresh mint, fresh basil, thyme, celery, cucumber, and stuff that is really low fat and really healthy and will make you feel great. And then a little bit of alcohol of course, it can't hurt so much.
