DIY Holiday Gifts: Personalized Travel Beauty Bag Video

Hey, I'm Erica Domesek from psimadethis.com, author of the new book, P.S. I Made This. So, the holidays are all about getting out, traveling, seeing your family and we all need beauty products. So, one of my favorite things to do for my friends and family members over the holidays is make them their own personalized beauty bag. What you're gonna need for this project are some clear travel containers, beauty products, some colorful labels and a pen. Have some ribbon on hand just in case you wanna put a little bow on the top. Travel packs are available just about everywhere. This one comes in a ray of different toms, squeezable containers and small little bits and bobs for lotions and smoothing creams. I've got some fun color items here. We're simply gonna pour it in. I've got a fun mix of shampoos, conditioners, all sorts of things. Now, the best part about this gift for the holidays, it's not gonna be a lot of money. You're gonna open up your cabinets. Chances are, you probably have so many shampoos, conditioners, lotions that have a little bit left and you don't really wanna throw them away. So, this is the best thing to do, repurpose, reuse and gift them. So, we've got those really fun group of beauty products but we need to make them personal for the gift. Get your marker and right fun things. I made this labels that say things like "P. S. Wash it.", "P. S. Condition it.". This is the eye cream. Draw an eye on that. Time to pack up your products. We're gonna put this back in the container. Make sure when you do this that they're sealed because we don't want them opening up and exploding everywhere. Once you've got all your products in your bag, we're gonna give you that final pack, make it even more personal. You got a little sharpened pink marker here. This one's for me. If you wanna give it as a gift, you have to have that last touch, the ribbon. What I like to do is always keep in the same color palette and here's your travel beauty bag.
