question

Will my anti-aging eye cream work on the fine lines around my mouth, or do I need a separate product for that area?

answer

Typically, eye creams are very different than anti-aging products for around the mouth area, as products for eyes have to be less irritating if they unexpectedly get into the eyes. For this reason, there is less alcohol and a few other changes as compared to 'all-around' products. We recommend the Obagi ElastiDerm Eye Cream ($89; lovelyskin.com) and/or Gel depending on your skin type and concerns. For around the mouth, we recommend the Neocutis BioCream with PSP ($130; lovelyskin.com). Both of these products are formulated for specific areas of the face and offer benefits that other creams don't, as well as the safety of using them in the right place.
