What's the best way to remove blackheads?
Blackheads can be treated successfully with prescription retinoids (such as Retin-A, Differin, and Tazorac). If you are able to see a medical esthetician (best to go to one who practices at a doctor's office), she can perform extractions or administer a superficial chemical peel, which can be helpful as well. As far as OTC medication, topical salicylic acid is probably best for blackheads.
