There are very few things that put me in a good mood during the early hours of the morning. Coffee (and lots of it) and Al Roker are two of them. You just can't help but smile when that man is on TV. He is so jolly he puts Santa to shame. I've never seen someone so exuberant as he stands in gusty tornadoes or torrential rainstorms. I mean, if he's in a good mood in every weather condition, then I certainly should be in my dry apartment, right?
But one thing Al doesn't have to endure with are the bad hair days that come from his accurate weather reporting. He can be standing in that tornado being whipped around and his hair will not move, because he doesn't have any. For the rest of us, it's great knowing what weather conditions await us outside our doors, but we also need to know how we can prevent looking like we just stuck our finger in an electrical outlet.
Thanks to The Weather Channel, with the help of Jergens and John Frieda, now we can. Both companies have teamed up with The Weather Channel to bring you a specialized daily beauty report. By logging in with your zip code you can get hair and skin alerts and recommendations for when these forecasts are likely to occur. You'll also get product advice and a style checklist, for the things you'll need to have in these conditions.
I just checked my beauty forecast for today in New York, where it is 79 degrees and gorgeous outside. My beauty forecast? Slight chances of frizz and dry skin, but nothing to be too concerned about. On my must-have checklist, lip balm (check!), a water bottle (check!) and UV protection (check, check!). This is one genius invention Ill be making a part of my morning routine, after tuning into Al of course.
