Product of the Day: Tommy Hilfiger Eau de Prep
The Goods: Prep authority Tommy Hilfiger has just debuted new men's and women's sporty, classic-American scents. Though not limited to those with country club access keys, the fragrances conjure images of perfectly draped scarves, silk shift dresses, and brand ambassador Brad Goreski, who is known for his his seamlessly blended colorful bow ties and pastel plaids. Snag the collegiate bottles at macys.com ($55$70).
Why It Works: Eau de Prep is more grown-up than the Tommy perfumes we rocked in high school. The transformation is subtle, yet sexy, and it can be found in notes of white rose, green apple, and sandalwood (for the ladies); or oak moss, and a splash of tonic (for the gents).
Insider Tip: Treat the fragrances like the final accessory to your ensemble (comprised of smart separates, of course). These scents are the finishing touches to all of the looks I designed for my Spring/Summer 2011 Prep World collection, Hilfiger says. That's right folks: Just one spritz, and you're off to the squash match!
