Some people may have been gasping at Nicki Minaj's cotton candy pink hair at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards this past weekend, but we were more shocked at another major beauty moment, done by the always polished Taylor Swift.

No, her hair wasn't neon and she didn't have fireworks strapped to her bra but she did (finally) give her signature red lip the night off for a pretty pink shade instead.

It's no secret that Swift loves her red lipstick (for evidence see here, and here, oh, and here too), but we were excited that she sported this fresh color for a change. It may have been a small step for Swift, but a huge step for beauty lovers everywhere.
