Sunscreen Fights Signs of Aging... but there's a Catch
We're all aware of how important it is to slather on sunscreen during the summer months, but according to the LA Times, a recent study from Queensland Institute of Medical Research in Australia (where they have the highest rate of skin cancer) has discovered that much better anti-aging benefits come one uses sunscreen on a daily basis. Yep, as in all throughout the winter, spring, and fall months too!
The medical study, which took place over four and a half years, divided over 900 Australians into two groups: one that used sunscreen daily and those who used sunscreen only when they felt they needed it. By the end, the first group was 24 percent less likely to show signs of increased aging. What was found to really matter was the amount of sunscreen used, not how much aging had already naturally occurred. That is a huge commitment, but worth the reward?
Do you think you could apply sunscreen everyday? Will you now after reading this?
