Sexy Legs Tips: 3 Ways to Show Off Your Stems
Last week I revealed my quest to have legs that'll make Blake Lively quake in her Louboutins and shared my secret weapon for achieving said goal: The Quattro for Women Shape Up, Stay Smooth & Strut Your Stuff Lifestyle Plan. First was a simple, yet effective tip from celebrity fitness expert Gina Lombari on how to tone your legs by walking. Next up is celebrity stylist, Jennifer Rade, who explains how to pull off one of summer's two best leg-baring trends: rompers and shorts.
1. According to Jennifer, the trick to making your legs look miles long in a romper (or shorts) is to go for a high wedge or nude peep-toe heel. Studded gladiator sandals are great if you're Whitney Port, but the rest of us should pick something with height.
2. Length is also key, says Jennifer, who recommends an above-mid-thigh style. Any longer and you visually cut your legs in a way that makes them appear shorter. Bonus points if your romper cinches at the waist the extra definition will elongate your legs.
3. Last, make sure your stems are smooth, silky, and bronzed. I'm currently obsessed with DuWop Revolotion Bronzing Body Moisturizer, which creates a super-dark yet believable streak-free "tan" that won't budge until you wash it off.
