What it is: Samy Signature Line

Why we love it: Having curly hair from a very young age, I have mastered the art of flat-ironing. Yes, my hair is super-straight, but with it comes a whole lot of damage and hair that looks a little thirsty! I was thrilled when I met with Samy of Samy Salon to learn about Samy Signature, full of products to protect and moisturize your hair! Adding to the family, Samy included a Deep Conditioning Treatment that you can wash out in a few minutes or leave in overnight. It only works on the areas where there is damage, which means you won't be oversaturating the healthy sections of your hair. An Ultra-Lightweight Conditioning Treatment for controlling frizzies and a Heat Guard protection spray have also been included, perfect for flatiron lovers like me. Here's what I looked like stepping into the salon. Not a hair disaster, but my strands definitely look a little dry and frazzled.

To fix this, the stylist washed my hair with Samy Moisture Plus Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner and then applied the Deep Conditioning Treatment (he left it on an extra minute — guess I really needed some conditioning TLC!). After I was all washed, he applied the Ultra-Lightweight Conditioning Serum throughout, starting at the roots. Last, he took my hair section by section and sprayed me with the Heat Guard before blow-drying. After a dry and quick iron, he topped off my shiny strands with Samy staple The Hairspray for hold. Uh, hello glossy hair! Where have you been all my life? The best part about the entire process is that is felt like I had ZERO product in my hair, making it easier to extend this look for a few days.
