Queen Latifah's Super Bowl Smoky Eye

I based my Super Bowl bets on which NFL football player's significant other I like better. On the Colts, we have Kendra Wilkinson, newlywed wife to Hank Baskett, and on the Saints, girlfriend to Reggie Bush Kim Kardashian. Sorry, Kendra, I rooted for the Saints.
But before I pretended to care about fumbles and tackles and three-point shots (joking!), I was immensely involved in the pregame show. Specifically Queen Latifah, who looked phenomenal on the field. While she belted out "America the Beautiful," she looked beautiful herself with a sleek ponytail and a purple, hazy, smoky eye.
Makeup artist Monifa Mortis helped Queen Latifah get this regal look with CoverGirl's fabulous ShadowBlast line. "After rimming the eye with a simple black eyeliner, I applied a black eye shadow to the outer corner and crease of the lids. For a pop of color, a shimmery cranberry shadow was used in the center and inner corner of her eyelid. To achieve a similar pop of color, I recommend applying CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Purple Plume. I then used CoverGirl Queen Collection Natural Hue Minerals Bronzer in Ebony Bronze
to blend the two colors and warm the eyelids. I love the Queen Collection Bronzer because it also absorbs oil on the face. I also used the bronzer to enhance Queen Latifah's warm complexion by applying it to the cheekbones and temples of her forehead.
"Next, I applied an icy copper lip color topped with a gold shimmer gloss to complement Queen's jacket. To finish her look, I applied a double coat of CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara on the lashes, and Queen Latifah was ready to take the stage."
