Backstage at NYFW: Phyto for VPL
At VPL, we caught up with Bob Racine, who was styling a low side ponytail with a deep side part using Phyto products and T3 hair tools. To get the models' hair to part correctly and drape downward across the face, Racine told us that he relies on "a little bit of mousse and a bit of hairspray."
But for any more complicated looks, Racine advises using his special trick: mixing mousse with a little bit of gel for extra hold. "Mousse is a great transformable product," he says. "You can add gel to it if you want something that's harder than a mousse or you can spray it with some hairspray." We can't wait to try mixing the two at home!
