Get Oprahs Au Natural Cover Look!

It seems we always want what we can't have: Straight-haired women long for wavy tresses, while those with curly locks pine for tamer, shinier 'dos. Women shell out tons of money for the latest products, tools, and stylists to tame, change, and color their hair. Of course I fall victim too, but what ever happened to originality and rockin what your momma gave you?
This month, we were inspired by Oprah Winfrey, who left her hair au natural for the first time on the cover of O, The Oprah Magazine. Unlike her countless magazine covers in the past, Oprah proudly displays her beautiful, natural locks and has been receiving quite the buzz. Doesnt she look gorgeous?
If you want to try her style (which can be achieved with either relaxed or natural hair), Andre Walker, Oprahs longtime stylist, gives tips to recreate her gorgeous do:
1. Shampoo then condition your hair with a protein-rich conditioner but only rinse half of the conditioner out.
2. Towel-dry your hair before adding a nourishing oil. Comb through.
3. Cornrow or braid medium sections of your hair securely before letting it air dry. Once its dry, unbraid and style using your fingertips.
4. Add more oil if necessary.
5. Flaunt your new style!
