I was filled with glee when I found out I would be attending the Noon by Noor show at Lincoln Center today. An admirer of the design duo that makes up this fresh label, I couldn’t wait to see what they had in store at the Spring Summer 2013 show.  A sucker for anything brocade, I instantly fell for the gold dresses and jackets. Poppy melon pieces in minimalistic structures caught my eye as well.

Fellow attendees and I moved and tapped along to an energetic remix to M.I.A’s “Bad Girls” and similar remixes to Adele's hits. Rich and elegant Arabic design elements were infused into each piece—a favorite of mine included a lime green embellished adornment along the neckline of a bright cantelope dress. With an upbeat soundtrack, killer designs, and energetic feel in the air, Noor by Noor’s Spring Summer 2013 was nothing short of amazing.
