Mila Kunis's Fabulous Pony

1/27/2010 12:12:00 PM by Colleen Moody

mila kunis

I find Mila Kunis incredibly endearing. I think it is adorable she and Macaulay Culkin have been together for almost eight years in a world where some people can't even commit to dinner plans on a Friday night. Kunis is currently in The Book of Eli starring the dreamy Denzel Washington as he goes on a quest across America to protect a book that holds the secret to saving humankind (just your average romantic comedy, right?). Such a heavy film definitely called for some heavy hitting looks on premiere night, and Kunis stepped up to the plate big time with this sleek ponytail updo.

Pony's are all the rage lately, and a big winner for us on the SAG red carpet as one of our favorite three trends. TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist Mara Roszak helped Kunis get this look, and tells us how you can get it on your own in four easy steps:

Apply TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to towel dried hair, and blow-dry using a medium sized boar bristle round brush.

Part hair in the middle, and gently tease the crown. Separate the front and crown sections of hair from the rest. Using an elastic, pull the remaining hair into a medium height ponytail, and secure.

Take the left front section, and gently pull back and twist around the base of the pony. Take the same section from the opposite side, and follow the same step. Tuck ends underneath the pony, and secure with bobby pins.

Curl the ends of the ponytail under with a 1 1/4" barrel curling iron. To add shine, distribute TRESemmé No-Frizz Shine Spray all over holding it an arms length away from the head.

This is a perfect style for date night, or just a night out with the ladies hoping to score a date for the next weekend!
