The Everyday 'Do: Meredith Grey's Wavy Strands

Ah, Sunday nights. The time of the weekend where I cozy up in sweats, hibernate on my couch, and spend some much needed quality time with my DVR. Last night's agenda Grey's Anatomy. It was about halfway into the episode when Dr. McDreamy came home to his bedridden wife Meredith Grey when it dawned on me, this girl has got great hair.
True, it's not piled high with cascading curls and rarely has ever seen a hair accessory, but if I could wake up on the average day with my hair looking flawlessly tousled and bouncy like hers I wouldn't complain. Meredith's waves are comparable to the modern day fingerwaves for long hair that we saw in the glamorous flapper generation. Her strands have more curl than the average wave, yet at the same time are too loose to be classified as a head of full blown curly tendrils. Really, they are just fabulous, and a perfect everyday hairstyle for your hectic week.
To get this everyday 'do for your hair, put in a set of medium-sized hot rollers in dry or slightly damp hair after your nighttime shower. Mist your locks with hairspray and let the rollers sit until cool, or overnight. In the morning, de-roll yourself and use sculpting gel or hairspray to bring definition and hold to your waves. Not only will this leave you with great looking hair, you'll seriously cut back on your morning prep time (less prepping means more snoozing!). With tons of bounce and great volume, this style is hard to get sick of.
