Men Wearing Makeup Is it OK?
With Sundance in full swing, we've been getting loads of looks from the stars, what they're wearing, and how to pull off their looks.
What we aren't used to getting in our inbox though, is how stylists get the men of the red carpet ready. For example, Entourage's Jeremy Piven was dolled up by celebrity makeup artist Sonia Lee for the premiere of I Melt with You even though his rugged good looks (left) look untouched by a makeup brush. "On Jeremy Piven, I used the always amazing Votre Vu Fleur Blanc Tonic as a base," Lee said. "I followed this with the Attentive Crème de Jour as I didn't want Jeremy to look greasy, and this product is very light and perfect for men. I then used Champagne Kisses, Tarte dAmande, and Amour dOre in order to keep his skin and lips hydrated all day long."
OK, we firmly believe in a little skin care regimen when it comes to grooming, but lip gloss? This might be a little...much. But is it really, when you can't even see a lick of makeup on his face?
What are your thoughts about men wearing light makeup? Is it fine as long as you can't tell or should they leave the primping to us? Post your thoughts below.
