It's been a little over a week since Lindsay Lohan reported to jail for her 2007 DUI, and life has been extremely rough for the starlet since. Mother Dina Lohan told reporters that she couldn't hug her daughter during her visits. They could only talk through glass and that she was being treated "like a common criminal." Absurd!

But what is perhaps even more serious than Dina Lohan's physical contact needs with her daughter is the horrific fact that insiders in the jail told reporters this past weekend that you could already see Lindsay's brown roots. No! Her roots are showing? This really is cruel and unusual punishment. Someone get a stylist in there, stat.

Though her roots might need a touch up, Lindsay was allowed to keep her extensions in during her sentence, which some argue is indeed special treatment. Perhaps she was given the choice — you can either hug your mother every time she comes to visit or keep your extensions in. We'd probably need to make a Venn diagram for a decision like that too, Linds.
