The Leila Shams show, held in an open loft space at Chelsea Piers, gave a taste of spring fever for the upcoming 2013 season. To pumping music, the models gracefully strut their stuff down a runway of white shaggy carpet.

A fixture of the show was crochet and lace: From dresses to crop tops it looks like there will be a premium on showing off some serious skin next summer. Green, white, and lilac dominated the color spectrum, with a bright fuscia making a welcome appearance as well. The theme also reflected a "school-girl" vibe with high-knit knee socks and clogs.

But as we are all beauty mavens, I'm sure you're wondering what beauty trends will populate next year's look. Laila Shams embraced a favorite 'do—high-volume beach waves! Should we just skip winter and go into next spring or what?
