Lane Bryant Commercial Controversy

Bras are a'flying, and not because we can't find our favorite strapless push-up to wear. Lane Bryant is accusing ABC of refusing to air the company's commercial for Cacique, a new line of lingerie during Dancing with the Stars last week.
Reps for Lane Bryant said the commercial was offered a slot during the show, but only after heavy editing that would have ruined the commercial. Since the controversy, Lane Bryant struck a deal to air the commercial on FOX during American Idol.
People are firing back and forth regarding the commercial, arguing that Victoria's Secret commercials, which follow a similar structure to the Lane Bryant commercial are constantly aired but when a plus-sized model is added to the equation, editing is needed.
Plus-sizes are being celebrated more and more every day, with the first plus-sized winner of America's Next Top Model Whitney Thompson (above) declared in Cycle 10, to brands like Dove celebrating the real woman in their print and TV ads. And when we say plus-sized, we say that with a grain of low-fat salt. These women are nowhere near overweight, many of them wear the same jean size as us!
Check out the commercial below, what do you think? Is it too much or are you thinking "what's the fuss?"
