For the second year, Lancôme is partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis for Genes Day, a designated shopping day when any wallet-damage you do suddenly becomes good. Stop by a counter or their website on Friday, October 21, and stock up! For the purchase of every Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate (the brand's skin-star), $7 will be donated. New Yorkers can stop by Macy's Herald Square location day-of to snag a bottle and a free makeover with celeb artist Manny Villegas. Lancôme's commitment is sizable, too: They've pledged to double 2010's contribution and give at least $300,000 to help the hospital with its day-to-day mission of life-saving care.

The hospital, the nation's pediatric research and treatment mecca, costs a whopping $1.7 million per day to operate and cares for patients without accepting a dime for treatment, housing, or travel costs.
