Get Kate Winslet's Whipped-Back Updo
From her platinum pixie on the cover of Vogue to this stunning swept-back updo, Kate Winslet has been making some serious hair moves lately. Frederic Fekkai's Renato Campora helped Winslet get this look for the premiere of Mildred Pierce and shares how you can do it at home with these three steps:
-Prep hair with Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Styling Whip mixed with Fekkai Advanced Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum. Blow-dry hair using your fingers to curl the ends.
-Wrap the hair around heated metal sticks (you can buy these at any beauty supply store) and let sit for 15 minutes. Once cool, let them out and iron hair by sections.
-Give hair texture with a dry shampoo like Frederic Fekkai Au Naturel Dry Shampoo and pin sections back with bobby pins. Mist with hairspray for hold.
