Kate Middleton's Wedding Day Makeup

Kate Middleton may have become Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge this morning, but the new royal stuck to her natural beauty routine by doing her own makeup for her Westminster Abbey nuptials.
Catherine told aides that she "knows her own face" and felt like she could create as beautiful a look as any professional, according to the Daily Mail. Before the wedding, Kate had a series of lessons with London makeup artist Arabella Preston to prep for her big day. But in the end she wanted to handle her look on her own, and Preston didn't come to the wedding.
For her nails, Kate didn't go as DIY. Her new step-mother-in-law Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall, set Kate up with Marina Sandoval from London's Jo Hansford Salon, who created a custom off-white shade of Bourjois's no. 28 Rose Lounge and Essie's 423 Allure.
We think Catherine looks amazing, but would you do your own makeup for your wedding day? Take our poll below and let us know!
