Even royalty gets caught unaware by the camera. Pap-magnet Kate Middleton, erm, the Duchess of Cambridge, got snapped with her eyes closed recently, accidentally providing beauty-enthusiasts a perfect chance to see exactly how her eye makeup is applied. Now, what can we learn here, ladies?

Mrs. Wales used a little bit of neutral blush-colored eyeshadow to give her eyes some depth and a swipe of black kohl eyeliner from the inner-corner all the way out. The liner looks slightly smudged on the outer-corners, a touch will keep her highness from looking too severe (per recently beauty police criticism). A few coats of dark brown mascara finish out the look!
