How to Be As Stress-Free As Kate Middleton

The news of Kate Middleton and Prince William's engagement has us simply giddy. We find ourselves Googling her hands at lunch to look at that gorgeous rock on her finger and taking a trip down memory lane to stare at all her fancy hats over the years. All we can say — it's about time!

When talking about the engagement, our photo editor made a very valid point. "Can you imagine the pressure of wearing Princess Di's ring?" Our response? No way Jose. But even if Kate (soon to be Catherine) is freaking out on the inside, she sure as heck isn't showing it. Here are some easy tricks so you can follow when your prince pops the question to follow in her perfectly polished footsteps:

—Stop inflammation, like breakouts and zits that stress can cause by washing with a gentle cleanser morning and night (try Clarins Gentle Beauty Soap or Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser), and applying a treatment product (look for one with salicylic acid) before bed. Use your fingers instead of a washcloth as to not aggravate your skin. Do you see a pimple on Kate? We didn't think so.

—Keep wrinkles away not just by using anti-aging products, but also by taking care of yourself. Stock up on foods with omega-3 fatty acids, fruits, and veggies, and drinking a ton of water to keep hydrated along with getting seven to eight hours of sleep every night. With a grin ear to ear, it's clear Kate's been sleeping like royalty lately.

—Give yourself a scalp massage a few times a week to combat hair loss from stress. Do this preshower for two minutes to increase your scalp circulation.
