Kate Plus Some Extensions

Now that Kate Gosselin has no one to scream at or humiliate in public, she has a lot of free time on her hands. Enough time that she decided to give her usual spiky 'do a little makeover with some extensions. She unveiled her look on the cover of People, with a beam that secretly says "my extensions are way cooler than your sparkly, angry tiger Ed Hardy shirts, Jon."
Though this was a drastic hair change for Kate, she went about it the correct way, by getting it done at a salon. We've all seen what DIY extensions look like, and it can get a little scary.
Celebrity stylist Ted Gibson helped Kate achieve her longer locks by using Great Lengths Extensions, which are made of 100 percent human hair. The entire makeover took 20 hours and was done by using keratin to bond the extensions to Kate's natural hair. "Great Lengths Extensions is the extension system of Hollywood. In addition to the superior quality of the human hair used by Great Lengths, the other reason it's favored among the famous is because of how safe and gentle it is on one's real hair. Unlike other hair extension systems, Great Lengths Extensions integrity of one's natural strands is never compromised, so the only risk one tales by having them is looking better than before," Gibson says.
If you are looking for extension expertise, ask your stylist what kind of technique will work the best for your hair type. For more extension encounters, check out this girl's quest for Gossip Girl worthy strands.
