Kate Bosworth Glowed at the 'Big Sur' Premiere
Kate Bosworth was positively radiant at the Big Sur premiere last night alongside her new husband, Michael Polish, who directed the film based on Jack Kerouac's 1962 novel of the same name. I was lucky enough to speak with the pair and see an advanced screening. Polish's adaptation of the book relied heavily on voiceover to convey Kerouac's autobiographical nature, and the film provided a raw look at the lives of beatnik poets. Bosworth brought a beautiful sadness to Billie, Kerouac's (played by Jean-Marc Barr) love interest.
On the red carpet the celebs were all smiles, especially Bosworth, who looked stunning in a black Christopher Kane dress. I asked her about her new role as the face of luxury skincare brand SK-II. “I’ve been a fan of SK-II for a long time, so when they called me to see if I was interested in a more formal relationship, I jumped at the chance,” she explained. And it’s not just her—Polish admits to using the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask, too!
After using the mask on the set of her movie 21, Bosworth fell in love with SK-II’s skincare products. She told me that she loved the brand's versatility to individual skin needs, which is something she's wanted in skincare for a long time. To keep your skin luminous and fresh in drier climates or during travel, Bosworth recommends using the SK-II’s LSP Ultimate Revival Serum.
Whether it was the SK-II products, her newlywed status, or pride for her and her husband's joint project, Bosworh was glowing all night!
