It's All About Nude Backstage at Helmut Lang

Nude was the tone of the night backstage at Helmut Lang, where I found shades of beige splashed across nails, lips, and eyelids.
The makeup was kept at an edgy neutral, channeling toughness in an effortless way. After giving the models a "sporty flush" foundation, Hannah Murray of NARS smudged Aigle Noir Soft Touch Shadow Pencil (in a blackish grey with a touch of glitter) around the eyes. For an added dose of texture, Murray dabbed lip gloss on the inner and outer corners. The lips were treated with a touch of concealer, followed by a light tap of gloss in the center.
Nails were also kept neutral, coated in Essie Au Natural, which manicurist Michelle Saunders calls "the perfect nude." The effect of this soft mani gives a touch of grace to the models' movements on the runway, with just a bit of shimmer to complement Helmut Lang's collection.
