Heidi Klum's Über Glittery Halloween Costume

The day after Halloween is kind of like Christmas morning for us when we were little kids. Instead of running down the steps to see what Santa brought us, we run to our computers to see what ridiculous costume Heidi Klum wore at her annual Halloween party.
Klum never disappoints when it comes to Halloween. There was the year when she was the eight-armed Hindu goddess Kali, the year she and hubby Seal did the Garden of Eden (she was the apple, Seal was Eve), and now this year - a very glittery transformer.
Holy glitter, is all we can say. We prided ourselves on our costume creativity of being Troy Polamalu, Slash, and a teeny bopper with "Bieber Fever," but suddenly, these just seem quite lame compared to Klum's costume, complete with absurdly tall stilts (plus points to Seal for posing next to her all night, she towered over him!).
Though Klum's costume can't really be sported in everyday wear (outside of Times Square, that is) it did get us excited for one of our favorite holiday trends metallic makeup. That's right, after Halloween it's a one-way road to holiday overload, meaning it's time to whip out the glitter, shimmer, and everything else that screams holiday cocktail party. If you are gearing up to wear this trend, keep these tips in mind so you don't overdo it:
Try a glittery eye pencil. Gold or silver liner on the inner corner of your eyes makes them look instantly larger.
Go for gold shadow. It's a universal shade that works well on everyone.
For gleaming skin, dab a liquid highlighter on your cheekbones before dusting on blush or bronzer.
For darker skin tones, try a sparkly plum gloss for your lips. It will stand out without being too shiny.
