"Fierce Five" Olympian Moms Get Pampered
How do Olympic moms prepare to watch their daughters win the gold? In the girliest way possible, of course! Before the "Fierce 5" USA women's gymnastics team took home the gold last night, their moms headed to the P&G Salon for some well-deserved pampering.
The moms of Kyla Ross, Gabby Douglas, and Jordyn Wieber were treated to a plethora of beauty options, including hairstyling by Pantene and makeovers by CoverGirl.
P&G Beauty (the proud sponsor of the USA Womens Gymnastics team) created this getaway to give a little TLC to the athletes and their families in London. It's all part of their "Thank you, Mom" campaign, which puts the focus on the incredible mothers who raised Olympians. The P&G Family Home, which hosts the salon, also provides laundry service, meals, and even a man cave!
Sounds like a place I'd be spending a lot of time at if I were an Olympic athlete (but that's a pretty big "if"). Let's hope for some more wins and more beauty treatments for our amazing athletes and their always-supportive families.
What's been your favorite Olympic moment so far?
