We Tried It! Vajeweling the Completely Bare Way
What it is: Completely Bare Bikini Wax Set with Vajewel
What it's all about: It started with Jennifer Love Hewitt's love to jewels, then went on to Kathy Griffin getting it done on national TV. That's right, we're talking about vajazzeling. Or should we say now, vajeweling? That's the term Completely Bare has dubbed as their own, as their "vajewels" are the only ones on the market made from real Swarovski crystals. So when we got this limited edition wax kit complete with vajewel inside, we couldn't not try to vajewel ourselves. So we did. Here's our story:
We woke up Saturday morning and revealed to our boyfriend *Joe (*names have been changed to protect privacy) what exactly would be going down (we thought about surprising him but decided that might get awkward). After a few grumbles of confusion, Joe succumbed to his Xbox to let us vajewel in private. The waxing kit was so easy to use, with very detailed step-by-step instructions and even a handy rear-view mirror (pun intended). After we were groomed and prepped, it was time to get down with the bling. The vajewel, a red crystal bow peeled right off like those temporary tattoos you were addicted to at the arcade when you were little. By just pressing firmly onto the skin and slowly peeling off after ten seconds, were were officially vajeweled! Now the real test - will it last?
In a nutshell, yes. We found it easy to go to the gym, shower, and go about our daily business without even thinking about our new accessory. Without getting into too much detail, during intense physical activity (wink, wink) you might find a vajewel or two on your sheets. Taking them off was super fast and easy, not to mention completely painless. All in all, we can't think of a cuter (or sexier) surprise for your boyfriend for Valentine's Day. So go ahead, try it. Your secret's safe with us.
