For all the girls who lug their life around in multiple bags each day, we’ve got a sneak peak at spring’s new It tote. Amidst New York Fashion Week, the industry’s most celebrated event, it’s only appropriate that the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and eBay would debut their second “You Can’t Fake Fashion” bag collection to raise awareness against counterfeit designs. From now until February 16, they’ve set up an exclusive preview within Lincoln Center featuring 20 of the 75 customized carriers, created by big names like Betsey Johnson, Tommy Hilfiger, Diane von Furstenberg, and Rag & Bone. Last summer the bags sold out fast, so mark your calendars: The new collection will be available at eBay on March 20. Standard totes cost $45, custom designs are $200, and all proceeds benefit the CFDA’s support for original work. Affordable, trendy, and helping a good cause–these totes might just be our new favorite accessory!
