Tips to Smile Like a Star

Everyone's been chatting away about Anne Hathaway's drastic new short cut this week, but looks like the joke is on us. The boy-cut pixie is just a wig, her rep confirmed. Though it's definitely a big change from her shoulder-length locks, she managed to pull this style off effortlessly and in the process probably inspired a few fans to take the plunge to shorter hair on their own heads.
One thing Hathaway sports that is not fake is that ridiculously bright smile of hers. The perfectly straight teeth, the blinding whiteness she is an orthodontist's dream come true. If you want to sport a smile like Hathaway's, try these tweaks to your daily teeth-cleaning routine from Dr. Timothy Chase, a leading cosmetic dentist in New York.
Use a nonalcohol mouthwash. The alcohol tends to dry the mouth out.
For a quick at-home "power bleach," use traditional whitening gel but change the solution every 10 minutes instead of leaving it in for the full half hour. This is because the gel gets weaker over time, so by switching solutions you can ensure that it's fresh and strong the entire time.
Instead of using toothpaste with a whitening product in it, opt for the regular toothpaste instead. Whitening toothpaste only removes surface stains by using more abrasive particles and may harm your teeth and gums. It does not actually bleach the teeth.
