Remember when Brody Jenner was dating Lauren Conrad on The Hills? You'd watch them go out to dinner as Brody talked about his "bros" and Lauren intently stared at him, as if she was using ESP to make him fall in love with her. You wanted them to end up together so badly even though you knew Brody wasn't going to commit.

Well, one Playboy ex-girlfriend later and it looks like Brody has very publicly committed to the recently separated Avril Lavigne. We kept silent when he reportedly got a tattoo on his forearm this summer with her name, but now he's gone too far. Sporting a mohawk and a shaved "A" branded into his head - we have to say, the man looks ridiculous. Was he not listening when he got the "don't brand your girlfriend on yourself" talk everyone gets in high school?

When asked by Us Weekly reporters about Brody's new 'do, dad Bruce had the typical parent response. "It seems like in today's society, getting tattoos and piercings, changing the hairstyles, going pink and purple and all that, it seems to be their generation. But hair can grow back! He'll be fine." Bruce does make a valid point - the hair will eventually grow back. The tattoo on the arm? That's going to be a little trickier to get rid of.
