Bobbi Brown Pops Up in NYC's Grand Central Station

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of popping by the first ever (in the world) Bobbi Brown Pop Up! store in Grand Central Station. Nestled in the iconic New York building's Lexington Passage next to some of my other fave beauty brands (Aveda, LOccitane, M.A.C.) the chic store houses the entire Bobbi Brown collection of cosmetics, fragrance, and skincare, with a special focus on the new Long-Wear Foundation and Creamy Matte Lipcolor.
Not only are the products to die for (naturally), but the space itself is pretty impressive. The concept was to take the best elements of all the free-standing Bobbi Brown stores (think heavy metal furniture, stainless steel rolling tables, and the Bobbi signature neon lights) and pull it together in a Pop Up installation kind of way. So first, they took the architectural features that would normally be in a Bobbi Brown store and flattened them into wallpaperwhich looks super cool! Then they shipped furniture from her actual office to tie it all together. All in all, a pretty nice space to get your makeup done.
Speaking of getting your makeup done: Bobbi Brown handpicked a crop of top tier makeup artists to be onsite to give complimentary (yes free!) makeup lessons to whomever happens to be passing through Grand Central. Serena Van Der Woodson maybe? Sorry I couldn't help myself. They range in time, so whether you are on your way to work (five minute "Insta-Pretty"), have a little time to kill before catching a train (20 minute smoky eye), or want the full-blown session (45 minute "Pretty Powerful") there is something for all you makeup junkies.
So if you are in New York City, pop by for a makeup lesson or some holiday shopping (it's only there through January) and let us know what you think!
