Here at Real Beauty, we often take turns naming Blake Lively's lovely mane, mostly because we are jealous. We've dubbed it everything from "My Little Pony hair" to "you could weave a basket with those locks," and just general grunts of jealously on our part. However, this week's episode had us giving Blake's hair another nickname — Cabbage Patch hair.

Holy extensions, what is going on with those things? From the angle of this picture, her hair looks long and lengthy, but up close the ends were tattered and you could actually see where her real hair ended and the fake strands began.

Why some stylist decided to make Blake's hair even longer is beyond us, but if this isn't proof that when it comes to hair, there is a thing as too much of it, this would be Exhibit A in the courtroom.

We often want what we don't have (i.e. longer, straighter, blonder), but these extensions had us sitting on our couch, petting our locks and telling them just how much we really loved them. For that, I guess we can thank these extensions for making us realize the good in our own hair.
