Aveda's Earth Day Cut-A-Thon!
The Aveda Institute is participating in a global 24 hour cut-a-thon on Earth Day, Monday, April 22. Stylists in their salons worldwide from Tokyo to Sydney to Moscow, London, New York, and Los Angeles, are volunteering their time and giving haircuts in return for a donation to the annual Aveda Earth Month campaign. In addition, they're attempting to set the Guinness World Record for 'most money raised for a charity by haircuts in a 24 hour period.'
Aveda Global Artistic Director, Ricardo Dinis, will be at the Institute in NYC offering everything from drastic makeovers to subtle spring trims. In addition to this initiative, the beauty brand plans to raise 5 million dollars during the month of April for clean water initiatives. Check out their video and get inspired!
Will you help Aveda set the World Record?
