American Apparel Suing for Exploding Nail Polish

American Apparel's nail polish is so hot bottles are exploding off the shelves literally. In fact, that's just the problem. The retail company is suing Long Island-based Forsythe Cosmetic Group, who manufactures the brand's line of nail polishes. The store is claiming that shortly after going up on shelves, the bottles started exploding. The store also said they were scammed "thousands of dollars" from Forsythe after the company learned American Apparel was planning on going with a new supplier.
"We wish no ill will toward this fellow American manufacturer, but need to seek a fair and accountable solution to this incident," American Apparel spokesman Ryan Holiday said.
