I am extremely sad Ugly Betty has just announced that this will be the show’s last season, primarily because I feel somewhat responsible for its yank off the air. I've watched about five minutes of the show through its many years on TV. Not because I have anything against it, I just assumed I'd have time to catch up in a later season. Looks like I assumed wrong (you know what they say about assuming...). I am even more surprised that I am a non-Ugly Betty follower because America Ferrera is one of my favorite celebrities on the planet.

It tickles me to the bone that she isn't a size 00 and doesn't care. She is also one of the few celebrities that I believe looks absolutely beautiful wearing minimal makeup. I follow the Jersey Shore Snooki belief – you won't catch me leaving my apartment without bronzing myself (just hopefully not to the extent Snooks does it). But America look absolutely gorgeous with just a hint of mascara and some gloss.
