Hipster Hair at Rebecca Taylor

During spring 2012, we saw tons of messy 'dos, which totally works with our Lazy Girl tendencies. After visiting the Cutler/Redken Salon pros backstage at Rebecca Taylor, we're happy to report that it's still trending for fall.

Minka Kelly On Cancer, Cooking, and Date-Night Beauty!

Last night, Minka Kelly, dressed in a stunning Diane von Furstenberg gown, walked in the 2012 Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. It is sponsored by Diet Coke and The Heart Truth campaign, which raises awareness about women's heart disease. But not only is it American Heart Month, it's also almost Valentine's Day. We figured Kelly (who has been placed on Esquire's Sexiest Women Alive list) would have a few tips on how to turn your man on come February 14th.
Doutzen Kroes Talks Valentine's Day Plans

We had a few minutes to chat up Victoria's Secret model Doutzen Kroes on her upcoming holiday plans. Even though she's more gorgeous in person (if that's even possible) it was refreshing to realize even supes aren't positive about the best gift to give their guy.
Real Beauty: What are you planning on giving a guy this Valentine's Day?
Doutzen Kroes: You really got me on that! I haven't gotten anything yet! What's a good one maybe to do something that's nice for the two of you. Just go get a ticket for a play or something. Usually women are better with stuff like this than guys, but I'm bad at it, too!
RB: So are you usually shopping last minute?
DK: Yes! All of a sudden it's like, 'Oh my God, it's Valentine's Day!' Usually Victoria's Secret warns me.
RB: Do you amp up your look for a big date? Go more dramatic?
At the Shore with J Woww: Jenni Farley's Top Beauty Tricks

Whether or not you watch The Jersey Shore, it's been hard to ignore the increasing fabulousness (and fame) of the feisty cast. With Spring Break around the corner, and a whole slew of emerging trends that are inspired by the beach bunnies (Snooki brought back the bouffant!), we reached out to our Shore-crush, Ms. Jenni Farley (aka JWoww), to get the scoop on how she scores her signature look. Even if you're a boho beauty, these easy tips are an undeniably fun way to decode boardwalk style.
Stock up on hair extensions. "These are a guidette-must. Whether they're for fullness or length, we always use these for the show. I make sure that I have a dark hair color for the fall and winter and switch to a light color for the spring and summer."
Tone up. "You gotta keep your physical appearance on point at the Shore. Taking AbCuts can help you lose unwanted fat and inches."
Avoid tan lines. "If you're a woman, you will not look good rocking a dress at night with tan lines. I actually designed a cute line of swimsuits that are completely line-free."
Dress up. "You always have to be fresh to death with the hottest shore trends."
Maintain your mane. "Women, make sure you have plenty of hairspray to help tease your hair. You can also use it with hair gloss to stop your locks from becoming unmanageable. Don't let humidity get you down, ladies!"
Bring your bronzer. "Always use bronzer! Powder your face and use a lotion on your bod. This is how to get a really insane glow."
Tana lot. (Editor's Note: Real Beauty does not recommend the use of indoor tanning devices, like sunbeds, though we do love a good sunless tanner.) "When I'm tan, I'm sexy! I get my glow by using JWoww Black Bronzer, two to three times a week in a tanning bed and then layering on JWoww Continuous Sunless Tanning Spray, daily. This is really a lifestyle for me, because when I'm tan, I don't need as much makeup, and I have a beautiful glow."
Send smoke signals. "Always wear a smoky eye when you're out at the Shore. We are not about down-playing our makeup! You want to be unique and stand out."
Inform your friends. "You are only as good as the crew you're with, so make sure all of your ladies follow these simple rules."
