To Black

"Black hair can give you an edgy harder look," says Chang Babaian. This may be be exactly what you are going for—it definitely was for Evan Rachel Wood—but she suggests to soften it up (and avoid looking anemic) with a pale pink cheek.

"If you have light brows make sure to go darker and add some ash," says Babaian. Also go with black eyeliner to add definition and mauve or plum lips—avoid anything too brown.
