"Then comes brows — if I am in a traditional dressing room situation with good lighting, I take that opportunity to pluck any strays (I keep Tweezerman slanted tip tweezers in my makeup kit). "Then I set everything with Laura Mercier's Mineral Finishing Powder in #1. I use a powder puff to press the powder into my t-zone, then use a powder brush to brush away excess and to cover the rest of my face."

"Then comes the all important blush! My current favorite is MAC's Powder Blush in Notable — I apply this with a fan brush (I find I get more control with this than with a traditional blush brush). I follow this with Stila's Illuminating Finishing Powder in Rose Gold, which I apply with the same fan brush to my cheek bones, forehead, nose, and chin for a glow."

"I like to play with my eye makeup a lot. But, I try to keep it simple with just one color shadow, a pencil and mascara. My current favorite shadow is MAC's Private Viewing, which is a pretty brownish purple, I then apply YSL's Long-Lasting Eye Pencil in #6 (shimmering burgundy) and smudge it with a smudge brush, which is probably my favorite brush, but the lettering happens to be worn off! My secret weapon is YSL's Touche' Eclat Radiant Touch in #1 which I apply to any shadows under my eyes."
