Dress Color: Prints

Light Skin Tones

Go with a light, neutral but shimmery shadow on the eyes. For lips, use a pop of color found within the print. If it's pink, for example, wear a fruit punch lipstick or lip gloss. (Try Milani Lip Flash in Photo Flash, $6.99; milanicosmetics.com)

Medium Skin Tones

Use a shadow on eyes that will complement one of the color schemes in the dress. If there are purple accents for example, opt for violet and grape shades. (Try Bobbi Brown Orchid Eye Palette, $60; bobbibrowncosmetics.com) A sheer, sparkly gloss on lips with a hint of color goes great with purple lids. (Try Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss in Fortune, $28; sephora.com)

Dark Skin Tones

Champagne shadow looks gorgeous with a bolder lip. Since darker skin tones can get away with choosing more intense hues, try richer variations of a shade found in the dress, for example a brick red or a deep plum lipstick. (Try NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga or Zambeze, $25; sephora.com)
