Dress Color: Red

Light Skin Tones

Choose a creamy champagne eye shadow for your lids, with a smudged brown liner. (Try TheBalm Batter Up Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in Base Hit Kit, $18; sephora.com) Then, go for a soft nude lip with a sheer red gloss on top. (Try Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick SPF 20 in Just Whisper, $9.49; drugstore.com)

Medium Skin Tones

Apply a creamy, champagne eye shadow all over the lid and a thick black liner along the top lid only. (Try Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Duo in Buttered Bronze, $17.50; sephora.com) On lips, wear a creamy red lipstick. (Try Trish McEvoy Gorgeous Lip Color in Gorgeous Red, $25; trishmcevoy.com)

Dark Skin Tones

Use a deep brown eye shadow on lids with a black liner. Dot a shimmery cream or tan shadow on the brow bone, and stipple a warm, reddish-brown eye shadow right in the crease. (Try Stila Pretty in Paris Travel Palette, $10; sephora.com) Choose a deep, warm red lipstick and add a pop of gloss to the center of lip. (Bonus: The Stila palette listed above comes with a brick red lip color!)
