In preparation for the warm weather (woo hoo!) we chatted with Smashbox makeup pro Lori Taylor on tips for faking the perfect glow and how to find the best shade for you.

If You Like Shimmer
"What I love about products with a little shimmer is that they add so much radiance to the skin," adds Taylor. "Just avoid a ton of glitter—it's not a modern way to wear bronzer. Keep these powders on the high points of the face: the cheekbones, top of nose, and chin area. Sometimes, I'll even do a light dusting of translucent powder to set the look. Shimmer can make you look like you have oily skin, though, so apply with caution."
