If You're Darker

"I normally say shop for a half-shade to a full-shade deeper than your normal skintone, but some people will need to go even darker for it to show up," says Taylor. "In general, it's always better to build up your color than to tone it down—add more is always easier than taking it off. If you applied too much product, grab a brush with dense hair and blend, blend, blend. Eventually you’ll buff out any unnatural-looking dark streaks."
